ISO 9001 2015 is a business management standard that requires the organization to align the strategic and business plan with the standard.

ISO 9001:2015 discusses the need to: “…ensure the integration of the quality management system requirements into the organization’s business processes.” In some cases NOT having a documented procedure is actually better aligned with this requirement.

There is no requirements for a quality manual or procedures as in the previous standard. The migration away from “documented procedures” to “documented information” liberates organizations from having to author wordy and useless procedures and allows them to spend their energies on ensuring that their systems work. Organization can concentrate on documenting their key processes and establish measurable quality objectives for the key processes. We can reduce your documentation by half and still get you certified to the standard.

A risk-based approach to quality management is one of the new requirements. The standard brought greater prominence to the importance of risk. Unfortunately companies identify risk only at the management level. We will develop a risk process that help you in identifying risk in all your processes.

The standard also enhances compatibility and alignment with other ISO management system standards.
